You might experience a headache after getting an injection for chronic migraine or hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Headaches can happen after any type of procedure, but they’re more common after having the neurotoxin injection.
The most common Botox side effects are temporary headaches, bruising at the injection site and muscle weakness. If you have any of these, stop taking the medicine and call your doctor right away.
Headaches and other side effects should be gone within a few days or weeks after your injections. But if they last longer, don’t hesitate to contact your doctor or provider for further advice.
