While the per-unit cost is lower than Botox, treatments use more units — overall appointment costs are comparable. However, because Daxxify lasts 6–9 months, the cost-per-day is often equal to or lower than traditional neurotoxins.
Daxxify® clinically demonstrated a median duration of 6 months, with many patients maintaining results for up to 9 months. This is approximately twice as long as Botox or Dysport. Duration varies based on individual metabolism, muscle strength, and treatment area.
Both are botulinum toxin type A, but Daxxify uses a proprietary peptide stabilizer instead of human serum albumin. This technology extends its duration to 6–9 months versus 3–4 months for Botox. Daxxify also has a slightly faster onset (2–4 days). The treatment experience is similar — injections, no downtime, and a quick appointment.
Daxxify injections are very similar in comfort to Botox or Dysport. Ultra-fine needles are used and topical numbing cream is available on request. Most patients describe a brief, mild pinch. The full appointment takes under 20 minutes.
Daxxify results typically begin appearing within 2–4 days. Full smoothing is visible at the 14-day mark. A complimentary 2-week follow-up is included with every Daxxify appointment at House of Aesthetics.
There is no downtime after Daxxify. You can return to work and most activities immediately. Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and lying flat for 4 hours post-treatment. Avoid rubbing or massaging treated areas for 24 hours.
