PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) is your own liquid growth factor concentrate applied immediately post-needling — penetrates micro-channels for amplified collagen. PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) releases growth factors more slowly over 7–10 days — a stronger, more sustained result than PRP. PRF EZ Gel is a heated PRF gel that can be injected volumetrically while releasing growth factors — adding a natural volumizing dimension. The Microneedling + PRF + PRF EZ Gel protocol ($999) combines all three mechanisms simultaneously for the maximum regenerative result.
A series of 3 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended for optimal collagen results. A single session produces visible improvement, but the full structural collagen remodeling — particularly for acne scars and significant texture concerns — requires the cumulative benefit of multiple sessions. Package of 3 is available for all major protocols at savings of $50/session (standalone) through $75/session (PRF EZ Gel combo).
Expect 24–72 hours of pinkness and mild swelling — similar to a moderate sunburn. Skin may feel slightly rough for 3–5 days as micro-channels heal. Avoid direct sun, retinoids, and active skincare ingredients (AHA, BHA, vitamin C) for 72 hours. Most patients return to work within 24–48 hours. The combination protocols (+ PRP/PRF) do not add meaningful additional downtime.
